Gray Sexton

Gray Sexton is a graduate of Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana and is a 1966 graduate of the Louisiana State University Law School. He began his practice in 1966 with the firm of Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips. For more than 40 years, he has practiced in the fields of commercial and construction litigation and arbitration, casualty and workers’ compensation insurance defense, business organizations and estate planning.

Sexton has had extensive experience with large, complex construction and commercial litigation cases in state and in federal courts and in proceedings administered by the American Arbitration Association.

Since 1970, Sexton has served as general counsel to the Louisiana Consulting Engineers Council and has had extensive experience representing the interests of engineers in litigation, arbitration and in Legislative matters. In 1987 Sexton was inducted as an initial member of the LSU Law School Hall of Fame.
